Change directions for a few days. I decided instead of finishing off the tank, I'll finish off the left wing leading edge.
Removed the labels off of the ribs with acetone, marked the ribs, and their position within the leading edge.
Maroon scotchbrited the ribs and the inner left leading edge skin. Once done, I filled a tub with a palmolive soapy mixture, washed with a scotchbrite then rinsed.
I then ensured a clean surface by cleaning all of the surfaces with acetone and then primed with the self-etching primer.
Clecoed the ribs back into place along with the joint plate. I reviewed the plans for the Duckworks landing light and will set the ribs up with nut plates prior to riveting the leading edge tomorrow. I'm also preparing the stall horn assembly as well, and I have to final cut the slot for the vane.
